The company I work for is now getting free iPhone 4's (that's plural 4 not 4S) no matter when I order them from at&t. I ordered two of them today for people that got their first iPhone 4 not even three months ago. Instead of paying $450.99 when I got to the checkout there was a credit applied for $450.99; and all models have had their prices slashed in half.

Just one more sign that the next iPhone is within 2 months. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it comes out by the end of July.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the iPhone 4 move to the "free on contract" price when the iPhone 5 was released last year? I think you may be jumping a little prematurely, but if it tickles your pickle, you knock yourself out!

iPhone 4 is $0.99 on contract. 4S is $99.

It's now being offered to us on Premier for 50 cents and the 4S for $49. Every time Premier slashes prices like that (on any phone at&t sells) it means at&t is trying to clear the inventory. I've been using Premier for 5 years now and have seen inventory reductions like this for the last 5 years.

Surely not the end of July. If we're in the middle of October and there is still no
sign of an Apple Event then I'd start wondering if they're even going to release
a new iPhone this year.
