The CLNRs from Verizon under the warranty replacement, at least with Androids, are notoriously bad. One of the things I am trying to understand is this - is Apple the only entity that refurbishes iPhones so that if you get a CLNR from Verizon or a refurb from Asurion, are these refurbished by Apple? Or do Verizon and Asurion do their own refurbs on iPhones?
I have only heard good thing about the Apple refurbs, which is the complete opposite from what I hear about the Verizon CLNRs on Androids. Some people have to return 8 or more, yes 8 or more, before they get one that is decent. It's like they don't even refurbish them, they just clean them up cosmetically and send them out unless they are completely dead.
