My next phone will definitely be an iPhone. My I5 is so awesome. I'm excited to get ios7. The greatest thing about apple is software updates. With blackberry and android( in my experience) you have to buy the newest device to get the newest software version. Not so with apple, tons of support for older devices.

Considering my laptop is a Mac, and I also have an iPad that I use on occasion, the chances are pretty high of me getting another iPhone. I have no real qualms with my iPhone 5 either.

Nope. No way could I wait.

Would it be crazy if I got the 5S too??? Unlocked?

I couldn't wait for the 5S either! My wife is still enjoying her 4 and it's a 3 year old phone.

I'm hoping I'll be happy with the 5 for a couple years until I can upgrade.

So far I think it's the best smartphone I've ever owned.

The iPhone 5 is indeed a heckuva smartphone, and I, too, enjoy using mine a great deal....

I agree. The iPhone 5 is the best smartphone that I've owned so far.

I'm on the fence on this one. I'm not wedded to iOS since the iPhone is my only Apple product. I can very easily switch. Lately I'm liking Android and its features more and more, simply because of the customization it offers (at least, more than iOS) and a wider variety of devices. The apps I use currently are also all available on Android so that's not an issue either. But Apple versions of apps are almost always better and more fluid and stable, and I'm not a fan of the fragmentation that happens with Android upgrades. At least with Apple OS updates are pushed out to all devices (that are supported). So there are pros and cons for each side for me. I will probably stick with my iPhone 5 for another year (I'm coming up on a year with it) and then decide.

Meh... I probably try out Android or go back to BB just for the keyboard.

Not at all as doing so will increase the resale value in case you do decide to sell it at some point.

It depends...I would never say I will buy anything that hasn't been announced yet. Not just phones. However I will say if Apple added a few necessary features that I use on my Note 2 on a regular basis and offered a bigger screen the chances would be much greater.

I'm iPhone all the way. have had every model since the 3G and now with the 5. I see no reason to switch unless the competition comes up with something truly better.

You know, a lot of places will take in a trade in to help you afford a new phone. AT&T has a "upgrade to new phone every year" thing going now. I got my wife a new iPhone 5 with a trade in for only $99 a couple of months ago (the trade in wasn't something new, it was an old iPhone 3GS with smashed volume and mute buttons). Best Buy has a few options too. In any case you can do a little work yourself, post your phone on eBay get maximum dollar for it, and apply to new phone. You will have to put up a little extra $ but even if you're getting a subsidized 2 year contract, you'll pay $200 up front anyway.

Yes. I'll be up and ready for pre-orders to start. I buy Apple because it's what works for me and it's what I prefer after using other platforms.

with so much going on in the android community I fell Apple has fallen behind I want to stay with Apple but phones like the Moto X are very appealing. And when I see people like Andy Ihnatko switching I think to myself is it time?

I don't get this... Why would someone else who is switching make you switch? I would never leave my current platform based on what someone else was doing. If the iPhone is no longer meeting my needs, well that's another thing.....

Very likely. I think that Apple really understands my needs. I am very content with the iPhone 5 and will probably be content with future iPhones for the foreseeable future.

I like Apple as much as the next guy but I'm gonna stick with my iPhone 4 because I don't want to spend over $500 on a phone, now don't hate on me cause I said this but they're pretty expensive, but maybe I'll get one when my contract will let me upgrade my phone later.
