A bit of both but some of the apps I really like weren't working properly with iOS 8 so it made it an easier decision

I see. I'm just going to wait for the public release of both iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite. Because the features that interest me most require both os's.

I'm really ticked with AT&T! They are laying a fiber cable within 100' of my house to feed their tower that is half a mile away, but according to the service man working on it, we won't be able to get it.

But, he may not know. He could have just been sent out to connect it to the tower, and not know wether of not it can be used for residents.
