I have a Windows partition but I primarily use OS X.

I don't want to try it because of the malware I've heard is bundled with it.

It just came out in the last hour. TUAW is warning not to use it until it is verified by more jailbreak pros.

Just so you know: Backups from ios 8 are not backwards compatible with ios 7.

I wanted to go back to 7.1.1 because I'm going on a long trip and wanted to use my phone without glitches and other bugs. When restoring back to ios 7.1.1 was finally finished, it said i couldn't restore the backup because it was from a newer OS.

I'm back on iOS8 beta 2 again
