It obviously isn't. Apple always has battery issues like this with the first few betas

And Tapatalk Pro is not fully compatible with this beta. It gets slower after using it for a while. Editing photos within the app causes crashes. The text input field disappears from time to time and so on

Not for me. It's just the same as with iOS 7.1.1 and I've been using it a lot today and I charged it this morning. Didn't get the 20% warning yet.

I will be traveling and won't have access to wifi. I might be able to use a wired connection to download the ipsw file on my computer. Not likely though.
