That's your clumsiness. I've never had any troubles with DFU in 4 years time

DFU mode is much more extreme. It can and sometimes will cause issues. Restoring normally should suffice

It allowed me so far to do great rescues on corrupted jailbreaks at the time

Installing a beta over a official os, should make using DFU legitimate.

I don't see the need for it. A normal restore does a decent job.

Then why don't I have those major issues, everybody else has? Except settings, the rest is quite stable, besides a few minor glitches

The 4 wouldn't be able to handle it. Enough said

I'm not talking about the device just being slow. iOS 8 would obliterate that phone! iOS 7 was like shooting it in the foot

IOS 8 features will push people to upgrade there devices in the fall

Oh no, I don't believe that. I've seen many topics on different forums where people ask how to get back to iOS 6.1.3 and even 5.1.1. Those people are incapable of straight thinking, but still. They won't upgrade

I however will update my device as well as my parents 4s'es as soon as possible iOS 8 comes out for the public
