On both iPad and iPhone, and only within Facebook, my camera is stuck on the video mode. How can I fix this?

On both iPad and iPhone, and only within Facebook, my camera is stuck on the video mode.

The regular camera app works fine. In FB, when I want to add a photo and click on the camera icon, my options are a) choose a previously-taken photo from the library, or b) click on the camera icon to take a photo. When I do that, it's stuck on video.

delete the fb app and reinstall
