How to buy a domain ?

Me and some friend of mine developing a website. We want to buy a .com domain for that. we have theoretical knowledge but we do not know trusted sources to buy a one. Can anyone recommend a good source to buy a domain?

I've bought all mine there. Very simple process and easy to maintain.

My husband also swears by Go Daddy. He uses it for a website he created for one of his fraternal organizations and is very happy with them.
