What's my iPhone worth?

Is this app a good place to start to learn to code? I'm a absolute beginner in coding but I want to learn. I downloaded swift playground on my 9.7" iPad Pro. I know you need Xcode. I downloaded the lasted version on my late 2013 15" rMBP. Is there any kind of code learning that I can do on an iPad Pro? If there is than I'm buying the 12.9". Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Swift Playground teaches you how code using the Swift programming language. So the answer to your question is "yes". I'm not sure what buying an 12.9" iPad Pro is going to give you that the 9.7" Pro doesn't.

Thanks for the reply back. I was thinking about the extra ram on the 12.9" that's all. Also I hear that the A9x processor is faster in the big iPad than the 9.7". Whether that's true or not I don't know.

Update: The processor in the 12.9" is clocked a little faster than the 9.7".

    Hi Abu,

Please keep in mind that you App will have to run older devices :-) on older versions of iOS!

I am coding using Xcode on a Mac Book air (2012) and my "main device" for testing prupose is an iPhone 5s with iOS 9.3.1.
I do use also "newer" devices with different screen sizes, CPU and iOS versions

I don't know if it will be confortable to work/code on an iPad (even the iPad pro!) and I never used playground.

You can start with some easy tutorials (the ones from Ray Wenderlich are great!)

Thanks. I'll look into it. What I was trying to do was do the playground on the 12.9" pro then move to the 15" rMBP when I was finished.

Update: Swift playground is supposed to help you get started in coding by using swift applications. I'm going to try to start there and then move onto the Xcode on the rMBP. I'm starting from scratch here so I think the playground might help me. I'm only using the playground on the 12.9" pro.
