Learning to code with Xcode and swift (from the very beginning)

As of right now I don't have a Mac or any of the software needed but I am using my smartphone to watch video classes to try and understand coding. I used to do a bit of coding in visual basics back in the early 2000s. So I've seen inside of a programming language application and used it. I used to download source codes and change everything to make it look like I made it (I know frowned upon but I was a kid). Now I really want to learn to code. The legit way and build apps from the ground up.

What I want to know from current devs.

Is there any advice that you can give me before I get me feet wet?

Is there times that you wanted to quit because you really mad but just walked away and took a deep breath?

I really want to do this, as I feel I have the learning potential to do something good with the skills I want to learn.

My outlook or goals are to; in the years to come maybe support my family with app revenue that I generate. I know it won't be for a few years but that is my MAIN goal.

Any advice would be amazing. Thank you!
