I would like to learn how to create Apple Apps but do not own an Apple device. Is it possible to write the Swift Playground coding on a Windows Computer?
The only place to write iOS, tvOS, watchOS, or macOS apps is on a Mac. There are some cross-dev environments, but they are all convoluted and ugly. With very few exceptions, all apps you see on the app stores come from the XCODE development environment on the Mac.
There could be a Swift Playground for Windows at some point in the future, but I'd guess it would be years away.
Yeah. You're going to need an OSX/macOS device if you're planning on developing for Apple. However I do believe that Microsoft visual studio has support for Swift.
They have a website to remotely rent a Mac. I'm not
Posting the link. Not sure if it's against the rules. But search google for "remotely rent a Mac". It's like $20 a month. You remotely access it from your windows pc.
