Skinning Whatsapp [Need help]

Hi,

I decided to skin the Whatsapp UI. Though I'm able to change other elements like the 'send' button in the chat window, I can't say the same for the main chat screen (below). I skinned the file for this home screen and replaced it in the Whatsapp folder, but when I do a respring, the changes don't come into effect. When I open up Whatsapp after the respring, it just shows the skinned version for a second and then loads up the default.



Any idea as to what is wrong or how I can fix it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You could always change the permissions of that file to be read only (iFile can do this) so that the app cannot override it.
