Ho i have an iphone 3GS and it has been jailbroken a couple times(probably no longer needed big hassle anyway) anyhow due to the massive speed improvments and the the clean backups you get i want to restore to stock but what i want to know is when i do will i stay on IOS 5 also small but importantly could i export my photos to iphoto then import them back on cos i need them for various reasons thanks

The reason i want these things is a clean backup when the iPhone 4s/5 comes out and have none my jailbreak or past bad stuff in it so it can restore from cloud and have optimum performance

I had installed iOS 5, then went back to 4.3.3. I put it into DFU mode, and it went back.

Really do you have to put it into dfu mode
