Sprint speeds recently aren’t bad

I was on sprint last year and recently came back and speeds overall have seemed to have improved. Actually got 107 down near my job which is neat. Just moved and speeds has increased every day so far to decent speeds

I was getting those 3 and 5 mbps down at home but now getting around 17 mbps down. Totally useable for my needs.

Sprint still hasn't caught up with Verizon in my area of travels, but I'm glad to see/hear their getting better.

Oh I agree but at least it’s an improvement. Don’t travel often and when I do Sprint is doable. Now with the T-Mobile roaming agreement I would think service will be serviceable .

Honestly at this point I’ll take the savings. I miss Verizon but I’m saving quite a bit with sprint ill take slower speeds. 5mbps and up is doable for most things for me . Actually like I’m getting 1080p video streaming with sprint vs Verizon

Glad it works for you. My area is still pretty bad. Some of my family and friends still have Sprint so while I don't have it anymore I know how it is. Especially since during football when we go out to our spots I have to fire up my hotspot so they can do fantasy.

Yeah they need it. They literally admitted they can't compete in the future when it comes to coverage.

I do believe what the carrier says when they are saying it in official documents sent in this manner -- and not marketing.

I mean you simply asked and I said why. I gave actual factual information on what was said by them -- if you choose not to agree well then to you the merger isn't needed so no one is really going to convince you, right? .

It’s a bunch of BS (imho) to just sell the fact they want to merge. Sprint just needs more cash flow to improve

Sprint's financial challenges are far too great. I'm not sure even the best management can save them at this point. They don't have the money to truly invest in their network like they need to. Sure...some areas are better than others. But overall, they definitely need the merger, imo.

They don’t and tbh it’s bad for consumers . Look at Canada

Their new promo is while great for the consumer is very bad for sprint. $0 for the iPhone XS on a lease ? They are buying the phones and hoping to recoup the cost selling it used

I would think if it came to it the US government will bail them out if needed too especially if the merger fails.
