Thinking of switching to Sprint (from Verizon)

I want to see if I can get some advice. I see that I can get onto Sprint's network (adding to my family's account) for just the price of what the phone will cost per month (iPhone 6 Plus = $30/mo lease), versus $100 on Verizon. Anyone have any experience with Sprint's network in Los Angeles and Phoenix? These are the two cities that I will be going between on Sprint. Right now, Verizon's service is great, but my whole family has Sprint and they have no complaints, but they are not specific about their data speeds, etc. From their reviews, should be a no-brainer... I would like some peer advice though.
