Upgrade eligible on 10/9, can I order now for that date?

I am eligible to upgrade to promotional pricing on October 9th but would like to put in an order now for the iPhone 5 in anticipation of that date and activate it on October 9. Do you think VZW will take my request/order three weeks before my upgrade date as long as I'm not activating it until I'm officially eligible?

No you have to order once upgrade is a there you can call and see if they will push your upgrade sooner thou I have seen it done

i know when pre-order started, if your upgrade date was before the 21st, they let you put in your order since the phone shipped after your available date. it worked for a friend of mine. now that shipping has started, not sure if you can put in an order since those are estimated ship dates. might as well go online and give it a try since ship date is out to 10/26 now.
