Sprint Activation Fee Waived?

Anyone having luck getting the activation fee waived with sprint? They told me an executive order from top management states they can no longer waive the $36 activation fee starting 10/1/11 (which was the end of Sprint Premier)

Just wanted to know if anyone was successful at getting it waived.

Yeah I know they took it away, eh what are you going to do..? Well I can still get things waived. The only reason is because, I called and yelled about how I can't get an upgrade and how they took it away, and how I couldn't get my free activation. So they put everything back for me.

I get credit union member discounts on my account and the deal is no Activation or Upgrade fees. We'll see when I get my bill next month.
