Bad AT&T Service in Las Vegas

I just came back from a trip to Las Vegas and was so annoyed that I couldn't make phone calls or texts inside/near buildings. I know that glass and the metal structures do affect reception, but my phone pretty much became an iPod touch the whole trip. Almost the entire group of people I came with (15+) had AT&T iPhones and the other two were Sprint. Reception for sprint phones were fine. I guess it has something to do with CDMA and GSM. Anyone else have the same issues in Vegas?

I live in LV. Have great reception all around town but a few casinos reception can come to a halt. Major size buildings so its understandable but dont have issues in most.

I have family that lives in Las Vegas I have great service there. I don't spend too much time in the big casinos but I really haven't had any issues.
