Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I wanted to get some opinions on this topic:
As some of you know, Verizon is the official mobile network of the NFL.
When the Verizon Iphone comes out, and if Verizon makes an Ipad with 3G built in,will they have to make an app for the NFL, or will they have to somehow build in the NFL apps that are currently on the other Verizon phones?

Who knows what they'll do, we won't be able to tell until the devices launch. If in fact they don't, there are multiple sports apps in the app store that will be useful to you if you need one. I've been using NFL game center and the ESPN score center app. So far the ESPN app tops game center in terms of score updates but the NFL app is great to see all the scores from previous games and news about the teams.

All of this is true but having used the NFL mobile on my wife's Droid2 all I can say is that none of the other apps come close. With the Verizon NFL app you can listen to actual game radio broadcasts from every team. You also get to watch over 3G the NFL redzone channel which is awesome! None of the other app offer that

Alright. If Verizon does do this I'm switching! That sounds awesome, I wonder if any network will do something with a baseball app. One can hope!
