    I am one of those phone geeks who buys a new phone at least once a month. About two weeks ago I finally got my iphone 4. I wasn't happy with the new 2gig plan but just used wifi more often.

    You see, as an phone geek I often switch carriers when cool new phones come out. Its a sickness. I often pay early terminations fees and always get unlimited plans.

    Recently I tried t-mobile in my area. They had upgraded their network and were now the fastest of the four main carriers. I loved my iphone 4 hardware, but jumped again to t-mobile for some Vibrant android love.

    About a week in I missed my iphone and decided to reactivate the line. I still had a week for my 30 days to expire, and hadn't returned the phone yet, porting the At&T number out.

    I went to At&T and wanted to just activate the old, one week old cancelled account with a new number, essentially having two lines. They said I couldn't do that I would have to port the t-mobile number back. I agreed and it was then that I was told that I could not reactivate the account because I had opened and closed too many accounts. Mind you that none of those accounts had outstanding balances and I payed a lot of activation fees and cancellation fees for those old accounts.

    They did however tell me I could retry in 90 days. Sorry At&t but it will be a lot longer than that until you see me again. I guess they are so busy that they don't need idiots like me to throw money at them anymore. I'll miss my iphone though...Hopefully the verizon rumors are true.

    yea dude honestly if you just kept canceling accounts i would of told you no as well. but its not convenient to you so screw at&t!

    Haha, yea, I thought I was bad .. this guy takes the cake. Honestly, I would have said the same thing they said - "You've cancelled with us too many times, adios!"

    Just get someone to jailbreak/unlock that iPhone for ya, cut the t-mobile sim card to size, and voila, you have your iPhone back

    Good riddance, he'll be on to the next flavor of the month anyway so why does he care? Seems he makes his own point moot. If he's so displeased with service...why doesn't he stick with one. Go find an anonymous session and have a sit.
