Iphone 4 upgrade questions.

my gf just upgraded in the beginning of june is it true that she can just go to the att store and get a new iphone 4 of equal value free of charge? How would she go about pre-ordering one if she wanted to do that?

They posted that there's certain date ranges where you can take it back and get the iphone 4. Better call or stop by to get the date ranges.
