So this is suppose to roll out here towards the end of november in select cites; Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami. I'm just wondering if this will affect the iPhone at all. Is it equipped to use this service or not?

They said it will be out before the end of the year in those cities and it *should* work with the iPhone 3GS which has the hardware to support this.

Hopefully they announce the release date for Miami. For all I know it could be out already, but I would like confirmation if it has.

What speeds do people get on the "regular" 3.6? I'm lucky to get 1mbps.

I can get up to about 2.5megs in downtown Detroit, MI which has a pretty good coverage area.

Fargo, ND data is at a trickle. It's Edge if you are luckly, mostly GPRS at a crawl.

My iPhone is pretty fast now, can't imagine what it will be like in a month. The iPhone just keeps on getting better.
