Wireless CarPlay Battery Drain - How is it?

I will be replacing my car, and I'm wondering how is the battery drain with Wireless CarPlay.

Does it use more/less battery (with GPS enabled) than without CarPlay or is it about the same?

It has been my experience that the battery drain is the same without being connected via wireless CarPlay. Besides, you can still plug it in to a USB adaptor in your vehicle to charge while streaming.

Depends what you’re doing. Music seems ok, but using nav burns through the battery quicker.

It’s ideal for short trips, but I tend to drop it on the charging pad if I’m going any real distance
