It depends on your carrier. It's been on Verizon in the form of VoLTE for quite some time. Works great!

In Canada only Rogers has it and I know bell Canada has started to test it on some area codes using Samsung Galaxy s6

Your best bet is to stay in the know with carrier news and wait for them to make it available. Large carriers in particular have a vested interest in keeping iPhone users happy.
