Hell yea I'll use it. My wife has a work issued blackberry and I went the iPhone route. We do not get cell service at home and that's where she works. Since it's a company phone she doesn't text so we always email. At least now we can use bbm to communicate.

What do you mean you don't get cell service at home?

Not big deal. Everybody uses whatsapp

Saying 'everybody" uses the WhatsApp app is untrue. I, for one, don't use it. iMessage is sufficient for 99% of my texting needs. I will indeed give the new BBM messenger app a whirl, but whether or not is stays installed on my device will depend on how many of the people I associate with will use it. If none, I will definitely delete it from my device.

I don't use Whatsapp. It feels cheap and dirty. But coming from a Z10 I will give it a shot.

I truly hope BBM is successful for Blackberry. During my Blackberry device years, I was a heavy BBM user, especially in the workplace.

I live In a rural area, and around and in my house I can't find a cell signal, if I walk 50 feet down the road I do, but not around the house.

Oh wow. Do you live in USA? Don't they have partner networks if your network is not available?

I concur 100%. Ok, 95%, as I may not even try the new BBS for IOS... not sure I need it.

I really do want to at least give it a try. I had quite a few BBM associates. Met a lot of fun and interesting people. That's why I stayed as long as I did. Miss some but not all. Gonna give it a whirl. I'll see how it goes.
