How to reboot iPhone 8?

On my iPhone 7+, which no longer has a virtual Home Button, in order to reboot the phone, you had to hold the Power button and the lower Volume button together for 5-10 seconds.
I tried to do this on my new iPhone 8+, and find that this combination, which also works by pressing the Power button 5 times, will take you to the Emergency SOS screen.
So how do I reboot my iPhone 8+?

Quickly press Volume Down
Hold Power button for 10 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo.

I just bought the new iPhone 8 Plus this evening, and that was one of the first things I looked up when I got home because the other way didn't work hehe.
