Should I update to iOS 10.3.1?

Hi, I have an iPhone 7 Plus 128Gigs. It's on iOS 10.0.2; I've never updated. I was about to update it to the latest 10.3.1 but I've found that iOS 10.3.1 has battery issues (check here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7917538?start=15&tstart=0) and I've got scared to update.

Now, with iOS 10.0.2 my battery lasts for about two days with an average use of checking emails and whatsapp. No games, I dont talk very often, and occasionally I take a lot of pictures (in that ocations the battery last less, of course).
Will the upgrade impact in my phones battery life? Should I upgrade or better wait for a new iOS version? I don't want to loose battery life.

In my opinion, you should update to the latest official iOS version your device can handle.
