Tight Home Button

The Home button became tight after the phone was opened for battery replacement. How to fix it? No other repair work was done. Could it because of heavily tightened screws? Could it be because of the plate or flex cable? The cable wasn't damaged though.

Was the phone repaired by Apple? If it was, take it back to Apple. If it wasn't, still try taking back to where it was repaired. All the parts inside iPhones are a tight fit. Most likely something wasn't put back in place quite where it should be. Or possibly the screws weren't back in the right place. The screws are also very specific.
