Whenever I use my 7th gen iPad 10.2”, it’s always plugged in, showing 100% charge. when I’m done I shut off the power. My device is rarely used just running from the battery. Does this practice lead to any sort of problems, such as battery longevity? Thank you. Ed

Leaving my iPhone plugged in has never caused me any issues. It won't hurt it. I wouldn't leave it plugged in 24/7, but it won't hurt leaving it plugged in several hours after it reaches full. Apple has built-in safeguards to prevent overcharging iOS devices.

As far as I remember Apple told us from about 2012 that when a battery is fully charged it will stop accepting any more power.
