I’m looking into recording my game play from my Xbox One X using an elgato HD60s. It says I need a quad core i5-4xxx, an AMD or NVIDIA gpu and 4GB of ram. Which MacBook could I purchase, I’m open to buying older as well. I currently have a mid 13 Retina display but I don’t believe it’s quad core. My main goal is to just record gameplay and then edit it later for small clip uploads. Thank you for any advice.

I assume the quad core i5 is the minimum spec. If so, a late 2013 MBP with a quad core i7 should suffice if you want to get an older model. Alternatively, you can grab one of the newer MBP with an Intel CPU in it.
