Hi.
I need to factory reset my iPhone 7.

I have the password of my Apple ID but don’t have the answers to security questions nor email.

Is it safe to factory rest and set a new apple ID?

No it is not. More than likely, the iPhone is protected with the iCloud lock function and therefore even if you were to reset it, you will be prompted to enter the required information to be able to use the device. With that being said, please contact Apple Support regarding this matter. Thanks.

If you still have access to the phone, you can sign out of your iCloud account first and then reset it.

It will request your for your Apple ID password to sign out. Then, after reset, your phone should be lock free.

Edit: You will still need to know the Apple ID email address.

Your email should appear in your ID details in Settings.

You could turn on two factor authentication and then you would not need to remember your security questions. You would need another suitable device for this to receive the codes.
