Iphone 12 antenna

Hi. Is there something up with the iPhone 12 antenna? Since I got my phone I have had spotty, or at best slow, since I got this phone. I thought it was because I used too much data. That wasn't the case. I'm having signal issues in places I've never had a problem ever. Even when it says 5G I will be having uploads of .1 or .2 mb. Only way I can get good signal would be to be out in the open. Thanks

I can't say on specifics. It's possible that your carrier is having a congestion situation on their 5G network in your area, or a misconfiguration. Those networks are in early stages of deployment, so it can be a hit and miss, even with different devices.

Have you tried disabling the 5G modem, and running only on the 3G and 4G networks: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT211828. They might yield better performance.

I just tried that. Seems to be doing better now. Like a lot better. Thanks! I hope this really fixed it. ??????
