Does anybody know what controls the battery charging “ping” ?

Does anybody know what controls the battery charging “ping” ? this has stopped on my XS and I rather liked it, it saved me having to check that the phone was charging, I have hard reset and soft reset to no avail,any ideas ?
The mute switch was on ! which is odd because I was talking to my daughter earlier,and she made the call and I heard it. I didn’t turn it off afterwards (or afterwords)
Knowingly anyway,honest !!

Even more better ! I know how it happens !! I often put my iphone on my leg when sitting reading,and of course it slithers off and hits the deck back down, I’ve just done this and for once in my life looked the phone over, and of course the mute switch has obeyed the sudden stop at the bottom and turned itself on ! who’d a thunk it ?!
