Is it safe to wash the iPhone silicone case? + a question about the iPhone 11 pro max's IP rating

Hi guys

I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max black silicone case and yesterday I dropped some coffee on it, and I was wondering if I washed it with water will that harm the case?

Also, out of curiosity, does the iPhone 11 Pro Max's IP rating cover any and all kinds of liquid or just water?
