Sound only from my earpiece

The sound coming out of my iphone 7 comes primarly from the earpiece. For example when im listening to voice recording its so queit that i need to put my phone to my esr as if i was making a call. Anyond have an idea how to fix it?

Do you have a case on your iPhone, and if so, could it be causing the sound to be somewhat muffed?
