clearing phone notification on deleted call

I received a unwanted call that I deleted without opening. Now I have a notification showing that I have a missed call. I deleted all recent calls but the notification is still there.

Welcome to iMore. I've had this happen before, and it turns out that it was a voicemail message. So, you may want to double-check that the caller did not leave you a voicemail.
