Unable to edit photos after switching to MacOS Catalina

Asked: Oct 12 2019 | 8:06 pm EDT 645 Views 4 Answers View Best Answer

When trying to edit in Photos using any program other than the Macs photo own program. No matter what I use [Redacted] I do the edit then get the message "Unable to Save Changes for "[Redacted]" . An error occurred while saving. Please try again later."
Any suggestions?

Have you verified whether or not the 3rd-party photo editing apps have been updated to work with macOS Catalina?

I agree. I've updated to Catalina and all my photo apps work fine. They all updated too.

You're going to want to check with the developer to see if their apps are being updated to work with the new OS. If not, you'll need to wait it out, find another photo editing app or revert back to Mojave.

Keep in mind 32-bit apps are no longer supported on Catalina.
