We just FaceTimed family& the audio was cutting in & out on the other side. The video was fine but audio was weak.

Oh okay. Rebooting the device in which the issue occurred may solve the problem, if you haven’t tried it already.

Was this the first time both parties Facetime'd and had the audio issue, or was it working fine until now? Maybe a reboot of your home wifi router and ISP device may help.

Sorry for the late response. We ended up figuring out it was one of our Mophie Battery cases
