I upgraded to watch OS 6. My only complaint is that I hate looking for apps on my watch. I think it's a horrible idea. I like browsing for apps on my phone to see larger previews and to read about them more efficiently. Having to scroll thru on my watch is IMO cumbersome.

Update: Thanks to those who answered. I just saw the update. Thanks everyone.

Humm, I'm not understanding. You can also access Apple Watch apps on your iPhone

Like the previous two posters said, the Apple Watch AppStore isn’t in the Watch app anymore, like you already experienced. But, yes there is a but, if you tap on Discover Watch Apps on iPhone, you will be redirected to the AppStore on the iPhone to a part where it only shows Apple Watch Apps.
It’s just not in the Watch app anymore.
