How to remove deleted photos from shared albums?

OK so here's the situation:

We were on a trip and I've made a lot of photos, others wanted to see so I just put them all in a shared album without making any selections and have shared it with others.

Later, when I had some time, I have deleted some blurred pictures, stupid faces, duplicates, etc. However they are still in the shared album they only don't load once someone wants to view it in full size...

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe just delete the shared folders altogether and share new ones?
