I don’t think it’s a dumb question at all! I think it’s Tapatalk’s attempt to get users interacting with each other on Tapatalk.

I read about it when it came out, even managed to save some. Then I was like, ‘meh’ and have disabled it since.

It looks to me to be an attempt to get users to interact with each other, thereby creating data which can be monetised. Leaving those users with the idea that Kin is for their benefit. I think not !
