Despite being advised update available. App store inform me 'no update available' however if I try from your link I have have no issue seeing the program icon for Mojave download , however, I'm informed " We could not complete your purchase - This version of macOS 10.14.4 cannot be installed on this computer."

I have tried every tip, and read many blogs. Am I missing something here?

Plenty of RAM and hard drive space available.

    Would really appreciate some help.

    Thank you.

You cannot install Mojave on a 2009 machine, regardless of what the specs are.
