Subject Area/Pictures on XS Max vs XS

Can you fit more into a picture using a Max than an XS? If you hold the phones at the same distance, will you be able to fit more of your subject into the picture using a Max? Can you fit more into a selfie with a Max?

The cameras are the same. The display size (and batteries) are different. My wife has XS, I have Max. Performance is same except for battery life. The Apple site has a spot where they show what same image displayed is on different phone models. That might be the answer you're looking for.

They both have the exact same camera. That said, the jump from the XR to either XS model will likely yield a different result as the XR doesn’t have a separate wide angle lens.
