I have a 2018 iPad Pro, and I want to be able to connect my military CAC via a USB-C card reader, so that I can access .mil sites that require smart card access. So far I haven’t been able to find a solution or answer to this issue. Thanks

I don’t know what the requirements are, however, if you search USB-C CAC card reader there are a number of options of pop up. Some of which say TAA compliant. I’m not familiar with that standard and if it’s required or not.
