Why can my MacBook Air no longer open Youtube and Amazon?

I upgraded my MacBook Air to Mojave some 10 days ego. Since then I have been unable to open certain websites especially YouTube and Amazon.

Each time I try to log unto youtube or amazon it the system takes like 2-3 mins to react then fails and a new window shows with the following response: Safari can't open the page ..... because the server where this page is located isn't responding."

I have tried with Chrome and Firefox but still get the same response.
Can anyone offer assistance please?

The issue is not with your computer or browser. “The server where the page is located isn’t responding”.
