    I own a imac, and have placed an order for iPhone xr, which I will get day after tomorrow. Is there any possibility to use my imac Id / email Id for my new iPhone xr? Many thanks

    If your ‘imac Id/ email Id’ is the same as the one you use to log in to http://appleid.apple.com, then yes.
    It’s even highly recommended to do so, because you’ll take full advantage of continuity and such.
