Siri Shortcuts access from other devices while away...

I have shortcuts setup from my iPhone 7 and they work great but when I go out of town my wife is unable to access the shortcuts via Siri even though I have shared them with her. She gets the message from Siri" the iOS device that was used to setup shortcuts has to be on the same wifi network" message. Question: can I buy an iPod/iPad and set it up with my Apple ID then keep it home when I am away so that she can invoke the shortcuts via Siri. Or is there any other way to make this more functional for her to use when I am away? We are not worried about having personal request being enabled.

Share the Shortcut link here and I will take a look. You might have something in the code that is not set up on her device.
