    hi everyone I have a serious problem ..
    I've bought today 21:9 LG monitor with resolution 2560 x 1080
    when I connect my MacBook Air 2017 to the monitor I can't use it with the recommended resolution of 2560 x 1080
    how can I fix this problem ?

    According to the specs it supports even higher resolutions. Perhaps you need a special cable?

    Your question is quite vague. What have you done to get the resolution to work properly?

    tried to play with the settings and also tried the switchrex also didn't help what should I do ?
