Whatsapp automatically calls someone

At times, if i am deleting messages or messaging someone without me clicking the person is called. It happened today it gets annoying both ways.

At times, if i am deleting messages or messaging someone without me clicking the person is called. It happened today it gets annoying both ways.

I can’t say I have had this happen to me, at all.
Quite frankly, it sounds more of a user error than a bug.

But to be sure, delete the WhatsApp app after making a backup first and then install it back on your iPhone to see if the issue persists.

If so, make sure you’re not accidentally pressing the call button yourself.

I agree delete WhatsApp and try to download it again.

Do you notice odd things happen within any other application or anywhere else on your phone? If not, I'd agree with the recommended posts above.
